The Hillcrest Surgical Services department performs surgeries in 16 sub-specialties including neurosurgery, orthopedics, colorectal, urology and gynecology. We offer state-of-the-art technology featuring O-Arm®, StealthStation®, Visualase®, and da Vinci robotics technology.

Neurosurgical Advancements

Emergency Center

The new Emergency Center at Hillcrest is located at 1125 South Trenton Avenue. At over 30,000 square feet, it has 37 patient rooms, a covered ambulance bay with space for up to 8 trucks, a trauma area and a dedicated CT machine. Nationally-recognized specialists at the Hillcrest Emergency Center are also specially-trained to diagnose and care for patients having a stroke.

Burn Care

Alexander Burn Center is Oklahoma's first burn center and a regional burn center since 1968. The Alexander Burn Center at Hillcrest offers comprehensive burn treatment for minor burns to serious injuries for patients of all ages. It is one of the most progressive burn centers in the areas of wound care, nutrition, and pain management. We provide intensive care as well as a rapid-recovery unit for non-life-threatening burns.

Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care Department

Partially endowed by the Benjamin S. Patrick, Jr. Pastoral Care Fund, Hillcrest’s pastoral care department has been providing spiritual care and clinical pastoral education for over 55 years.

Palliative Care

Palliative care is a medical specialty backed by an interdisciplinary team that supports the care of patients with serious and life-threatening illnesses. We treat complex pain and other symptoms, handle intensive patient/family communication and assists with recommendations on care goals. We assit with developing the plan of care and support the staff by making the patient as comfortable as possible at all stages of illness, simultaneously, with curative care or other medical treatment.
